PHOTOGRAPHY
For restaurants, food brands, chefs, and the hands that shape the table.
culinary story photography
Food has always been part of my story. Long before the camera, there were kitchens. Pastry recipes, bespoke wedding cakes, the quiet ritual of making something beautiful enough to share.
That thread never left. It runs through everything I photograph now.
I work with restaurants, culinary brands, and chefs who want imagery that captures not just the dish but the intention behind it. The hands, the process, the moment before it reaches the table. Photography that makes someone taste it before they've even arrived.

Before I ever picked up a camera, I had flour on my hands.
For nearly five years, I owned a bespoke cake studio in Carmel, Indiana, creating handmade wedding cakes adorned with hand-pulled sugar flowers and dessert displays built from layers of flavor, texture, and intentional design. Formally trained through Le Cordon Bleu pastry arts programs and mentored by renowned cake designers, I understood early that food is never just food. It is craft. It is care. It is someone's whole heart on a plate.
Before that, I spent nearly two decades as a large-scale corporate event planner in Indianapolis, collaborating with culinary teams on events that drew thousands, from intimate private celebrations to the electric energy of Indy 500 weekend. I learned to speak the language of a kitchen long before I ever photographed one.
When I moved to Louisville and photography became my work, that world didn't disappear. It moved into my hands, my eye, my process.
I photograph food the way I once made it. With all five senses engaged. I hear the kitchen before I see it. I feel the texture of a dish before I frame it. I taste the intention behind it before I take a single shot. My planning process reflects the same care a chef brings to every plate, from the first creative conversation down to the final gallery delivery.
I photograph chefs in their element, translating their visual aesthetic and elevating the heart and soul of what they make. I work with restaurants, food brands, and culinary creatives who want imagery that carries the full weight of what they built.
Because I have stood where you stand. I know what it costs to make something this beautiful.
