Where will our session take place?

You have *more than* a few different options for your location! We'll start by selecting a Studio Session or a Lifestyle Session. Studio Sessions are scheduled in a downtown Louisville, KY photography studio. Lifestyle Branding Sessions are on-location - your office, your home, a gorgeous Air BnB, favorite locations throughout the city. Not sure where to begin on selecting your locations? No worries, we hash this out during the planning process for your session. And yes, I do travel for sessions and retreat photography.

Looking for just a fresh set of headshots? No problem. Just head to the contact page & let’s chat about your needs.

Where do I start with inspiration?

We'll start with your brand design and colors to start considering locations and the aesthetics to build the basic structure of your shoot. We'll discuss your own personal styling (think of your branded self in photos -- what is she/he wearing? how do you want to feel in front of the camera? Powerful, confident, like an expert in your field?), selecting outfits that compliment you and your carefully planned visual brand. Feel free to pull images that you love from your favorite brands, celebs, and muses to start a mood board to share during the planning call for inspiration!

What I have no idea of my visual style?

No worries! If you are new to the entrepreneurial experience or work for a bigger brand that has an established visual presence we'll focus on facets of your personal career and storyline... and we can go as personal as you'd like. Consider incorporating hobbies, passions, BTS, and previous career experience into the fold. A Personal Branding session is all about elevating you and making those personal connections with your audience that keep them begging for more!

What is a Personal Brand session like with Jama?

An intoxicating combination of both freebird and super checklist-y planner, Jama will seamlessly guide you through the planning process for a successful branding session through her visual storytelling method! Before you ever step in front of the camera, you'll be prepared with an overall timeline, must-have shot list and inspiration, and an understanding of the variety and types of shots to expect in your final gallery. We'll focus on headshots, lifestyle images, detail + products shots based on your imagery needs.
